The Third Age
Letters from Norros
Dear Friends, I left you on a desperate mission to find more information on the potential whereabouts of Balthazar himself. I plan to travel to the Dragonborn city of Boora Toora, where Clan Kurn has a heavily guarded library. The best collection of First and Second age accounts. On my travels, I detoured back through the Temperance Vale and into Parabor to check on Errus and Ekris Shaxus, the Tieflings we freed. I spoke with the townsfolk and the two of them are now employed there. It occured to me that the location of The Master's House is such a safe haven. Parabor's citizens do not like Belvin after his troops occupied the town the night we barely escaped. They view us as champions. The townsfolk are about to open up another iron ore mine, perhaps the town will grow. Either way, I left Errus and Ekris with 100gp each to invest. They get to keep 50% of the profits they earn. If you have any input on what they should spend the money on, send word to them at The Rowdy Room, where they both currently work.
Dear Friends, I met some of Belvin's militia. They were dumb brutes, but they recognized me. But let me go instead of arresting me. They found the reason for my warrant outrageous. Not every man blindly follows leadership, this was refreshing to learn. I write this letter from Farncombe, the Halfling farming village just outside of Boora Toora. The farms here are amazing and I understand why representatives from across the world come here. Enchanted vegetables and fruits, wheats, breads, meats, milks and cheeses that stay fresh for what seems like forever. Should you find yourselves here, Andon, who runs the Elixir has become a good friend through my stays. Eoris, who will be the town's top musician in no time, is quite lovely. I would stay here with her if I did not have a mission of such dire importance.
